Cessnock First Aid, Provide first aid in remote situations deals with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response and emergency life support to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation.

The unit applies to workers who may be required to prepare for and provide a first aid response in locations beyond the reach of timely medical assistance.

  • HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations

Initial Course duration:

  • Mixed Mode: Completion of on-line pre-course study with 6.5 hours practical training, starting 8:45am till approx. 4:00pm
